It was interesting to see first-hand what goes into ice diving. Thoroughly impressed with everyone that went through all of that work to go under the ice!
It's a sadness to me that I left my job in Iceland before getting a chance to ice dive but I'll be heading there asap to get in a couple of dives with my former colleagues asap. Again most of my friends and family look at me as if I'm nuts when I talk of plans for ice diving and starting a cave course. Good thing the diving community is so supportive and friendly!

Hmmmm, I think a year is enough time to get drysuit certified and mentally prepare for an ice dive....
